Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, also a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party Parliamentary Board committee, has returned to Bengaluru this afternoon after attending a CEC meeting in Delhi.

Speaking to reporters, B S Yediyurappa expressed confidence that the BJP and its alliance would secure more than 25 seats in this Lok Sabha election. The meeting, attended by all the top leaders of the party, is expected to reveal a clear picture of the likely candidates by today (March 12) evening, he said.

Yediyurappa refrained from commenting on the possibilities of Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha missing the ticket this time. He stated that a clear picture would emerge soon.
